Judges Tasting Notes: Powerful and expressive nose of tinned peaches, vanilla and white chocolate – think a liquid Solera ice cream. Rich but surprisingly refreshing.

Judges Tasting Notes: Nice and sweet with copious amounts of tropical fruit flavours; tangy and super flavoursome palate. All natural and delicious.

Judges Tasting Notes: Heaps of passionfruit and vanilla in a great velvety delivery. Grippingly juicy and tangy on the palate. Flavours are well balanced and not cloyingly sweet.

Judges Tasting Notes: Natural red forest fruits on the nose with a tangy palate and a warming heat carrying the long finish.

Bottleproof Cocktails scoops top award at The Spirits Masters 2019
With the start of a new year, we are delighted to announce that Bottleproof Cocktails finished 2019 on a high when we were announced as overall winners of the Global Speciality Spirits Masters 2019.
Run by “The Spirits Business”, products are split into different categories (Gin, Whisky, Rum, Vodka etc) with competitions happening throughout the year. Our category, “The Speciality Spirits” encompassed some of the Worlds’ more niche spirits alongside pre- mixed and ready to drink products.
It is the first time Bottleproof has entered the competition and we sent six of our cocktails to be independently blind tasted by industry experts. Impressively, all six received an award with the results as follows:
GOLD MEDALS: Bottleproof Espresso Martini, Bottleproof Negroni, Bottleproof Old Fashioned, Bottleproof Scaffa – Orchard Edition
SILVER MEDALS: Bottleproof Porn Star Martini, Bottleproof Blueberry Gin Burst
At the awards lunch, Bottleproof Cocktails were then announced as the overall winners of the Speciality Spirits category collecting the title of Grand Speciality Master 2019.
Following our success in The IWSC 2019 awards, The Spirits Masters result serves to back up our belief that our cocktails are genuinely as good as can be served by a professional mixologist and is testament to the hours of hard work our mixologists have spent perfecting the recipes.

We Entered 2 x cocktails into this years International Wine & Spirits Competition just to see how they would fare and we were delighted to see both were awarded medals.

Espresso Martini

Score: 90
Judges Tasting Notes: Aromatic and sweet coffee notes balance the sour and crisp fruity aromas and flavours. It has a natural coffee lead throughout, with great intensity and a fantastic focus. The sweetness, spices and bitter coffee notes are all in order. Highly recommended
Negroni
Award: Bronze
Score: 87
Judges Tasting Notes: The nose has beautiful alpine herbs and a scent of vermouth. This is s fruitier, fresher Negroni – inspired style with an appetising and balanced selection of flavours.

Apple Pie-Tini at the Adelphi Theatre, West End, London
Bottleproof Cocktails provide LW theatres with a unique cocktail for a unique show.
Bottleproof Cocktails have been supplying LW Theatres in London’s West End with our range of classic cocktails since 2016. If you have been to The Phantom of The Opera or Kinky Boots the chances are you have had one!
In addition to supplying our classic cocktails, we have also worked in partnership to create some bespoke cocktails. Currently you can try our latest bespoke cocktail, The Delorian Daiquiri at Back To The Future.
Prior to Back To The Future, Bottleproof worked with LW Theatres to create a cocktail specifically for the West End musical, “Waitress” at the Adelphi Theatre in March 2019. The remit was to create a cocktail to reflect the show – and one that should be connected somehow to apple pie.
Our mixologists got to work, predominantly in our kitchens, creating various recipes with in-house syrups, spirits and liqueurs to formulate something unique and presented two options to the team at LW and the Adelphi. The key was to create a base syrup that kept to the remit of a cocktail that tastes like (and if possible, also smells like) apple pie and that fused the alcohol ingredients together to optimise balance and longevity.
The tasting team felt that the chosen cocktail tasted and smelt so much like an apple pie that it needed to be in the name. Hence our take on an Apple Pie Martini, or in this case an “Apple Pie-Tini” was born.
The cocktail was launched with the opening of the show and customer reaction and orders surpassed all expectations in the first few months. One customer even commented that it was ‘good enough to eat’.
The Adelphi theatre went all out to create the right atmosphere for this new West End musical even to the extent of spraying the auditorium with an apple pie scent. But it is clear from the cocktail sales a great many of the audience were also getting equally ensconced by having an Apple Pie-Tini at the bar before the show and during the interval – and quite right too!
The partnership approach increases sales
Since we have partnered with The Adelphi, their classic cocktail sales have virtually doubled but it is the partnership approach in creating bespoke cocktails tailored to a show (or venue) that has been the most mutually successful. Such was the success of the Apple Pie-Tini for example, it outsold all the other cocktails combined, even outselling the classic best seller, the Pornstar Martini by 3 times.
