CASE STUDY

We were asked to create a bottled “cocktail” using local ingredients for one of our customers, Pennyhill Park Hotel in Surrey so they could place a cocktail in guest rooms as a complimentary drink on arrival.

The remit: The hotel wanted customers to pour their own drink without needing ice or a cocktail shaker. Our mixologists created what we called The Surrey Scaffa (and what has since evolved into the Scaffa – Orchard edition). Sourcing local ingredients we combined Becketts Gin (which uses junipers picked from Box Hill) with apple, orange, rhubarb and some of our own creative extras.

Bottleproof designed specific labels and the cocktail was made available in 200ml (double serve) bottles and 100ml (single serve) bottles and then displayed in each room with a “complimentary” card and a description of the cocktail”
